Meet Your Teacher
Background Welcome! My name is Leslie Bruce. I have been teaching for the Las Virgenes Unified Schools since 1987. I received my B.A. in Psychology from U.C.L.A., and I have a M.S. in Technology. This will be very useful in the classroom since education is quickly incorporating technology throughout the curriculum. I have been at Lindero for the past ten years teaching Language Arts/ Social Science, and computers.
Hobbies, Interests, Family
I have lived in the Agoura Hills area for the past 16 years, and have three children, Leigh (17), Garrett (16), and Julie (14), In addition, I have three dogs, my yellow lab Rex(my running partner), Gwen the mut, and Toby, the Jack Russell terrier. For over 22 years I have been a runner, and I continue to run everyday, as well as bike and workout at the gym regularly. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, going to the beach, watching sports, and going to the movies.
